Conquer The Canyon®
Get Ready to Hike The Grand Canyon in 2010 with

Team Reeve
Oct. 15 - 18, 2010

Each year millions of people travel to Arizona to see the crown jewel of the North American landscape - The Grand Canyon, and though seeing is believing, you can do much more than look! You can experience it on a personal level so close, you can feel the power of the ground beneath you, yet so distant that only your imagination can capture its magical beauty. Best of all, you will be putting this power and majesty to work to bring help and hope to millions of people living with spinal cord injuries.

Team Reeve and Conquer The Canyon have joined forces to bring you a special 3-night/4-day walking, hiking and active adventure at one of the "Grandest" natural wonders of the world - The Grand Canyon! Get ready for a very rare experience. Less than 1% of the millions of visitors to the park each year ever travel its trails and with Conquer The Canyon, you have the opportunity to join this exclusive group. Several days with Team Reeve at Grand Canyon and you will leave with a lifetime of stories to share with your friends and family.

There is a walk, hike or wheelchair accessible adventure to suit everyone. Conquer The Canyon and The Walking Connection have developed a special training program to help prepare you to meet the personal challenges of one of several levels of adventures at Grand Canyon. There is something for everyone.

The gentle rolling hills of the wheelchair accessible paved portions of the Rim Trail will challenge chaired participants. Walkers of all levels seeking a longer or more endurance based adventure along the Rim will find themselves on one of the most beautiful walks and hikes of their lives, while the in-canyon trails will allow both moderate and well-seasoned hikers an exceptionally rare challenge of experiencing the the Canyon below the rim. Each small group of participants will be lead by The Walking Connection's best Grand Canyon experts who will interpret the intricacies of the geology, history, flora, fauna and environmental zones of the canyon.

You'll Receive expert fundraising assistance, exclusive Grand Canyon Hike Training Program, complete travel logistics*, ground transportation while in Arizona, hotel accommodations, most meals including a special Mission Inspiration Dinner and a Mission Celebration Dinner, hikes guided by expert Grand Canyon guides and the fun and camaraderie of others who will join you and celebrate the mission of Team Reeve!

In Return you will support the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation by raising funds and creating awareness for their mission. By yourself, with a few friends, a corporate team, a walking or hiking club, this is your opportunity to help support innovative research and quality of life programs while positively changing your own life. Join with us to achieve Today’s Care, Tomorrow’s Cure.

The Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation is dedicated to curing spinal cord injury by funding innovative research, and improving the quality of life for people living with paralysis through grants, information and advocacy.”
